Beth Ostrosky Stern (born July 15, 1972) is an American actress, author, model, and animal rights activist. She is the wife of Howard Stern's radio personality.

Ostrosky was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His mother, Judy (nÃÆ' Â © e Jarema), is an ex-model and a devout Catholic, and his father, Robert Ostrosky, is a dentist. Ostrosky was raised as a Roman Catholic. He has two brothers.
He attended Fox Chapel High School in the suburbs of Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, and continued studying English Literature at the University of Pittsburgh where he was a member of Delta Delta Delta student association.

Careers
Ostrosky works as a model while in high school. He moved from Pittsburgh to New York City to pursue his modeling career and worked for several fashion houses in NYC in the early 2000s. Soon after his arrival in New York City, talent scouts began to notice him, and offered his small part in film and television advertising campaigns.
Ostrosky received his first role as one of the daughters of Ben Stiller's parents who allegedly was born in the 1996 film Flirting with Disaster. He played a more prominent role four years later, in the movie Whipped , with Amanda Peet. Ostrosky also appeared on television, appearing in the last season of the G4 Filter event, and the Spike Cinema Casino series .
He has appeared on his own calendar, also on the cover of several magazines. She has been on the cover of FHM three times. Voting from readers For Him Magazine (" FHM ") placed Stern among FHM ' s 100 Sexiest Woman of the Year in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2007 (# 76). AskMen.com placed the 96th Stern in the Most Wanted Women's list for 2007. She signed with Click Model, in Boston and New York City.
In 2010 Ostrosky-Stern wrote Oh My Dog: How to Choose, Train, Groom, Maintain, Give, and Care for Your New Friends , which reached # 5 on The New York Times The Best Seller List from the paperback suggestion book. In 2014, Ostrosky-Stern wrote the children's book Yoda: The Story of a Cat and his Kitten about Persian cats with heart conditions, which she and her husband saved. The proceeds of the book went to support Bianca's Furry Friends, a 15,000 square-foot free animal shelter in the North Shore Animal League, named after the couple's late bulldog. In 2015, Ostrosky-Stern wrote the sequel Yoda Gets a Buddy .
Personal life
Ostrosky and Howard Stern started engaged on February 13, 2007 after seven years of dating, and were married at Le Cirque restaurant in New York City on October 3, 2008. Ostrosky has legally changed his last name to Stern. As of June 2014, Ostrosky and Stern have built and found homes for 75 cats from their New York City home.
