Pune is a city in West India, in the state of Maharashtra and about 160 km east of Mumbai. It is located about 3 miles along the river. The heart of the city is much older than the rest of the city. This is a proposed way to avoid traffic congestion in Pune City. As the name suggests this Ring Road is a circular road. It covers 29 villages in the Pune district of Pune. This road links Dehu Road in NH-4 to Katraj in NH-4 to bypass the NH-4 traffic from outside Pune City.
Mumbai-Pune -Bangalore-Chennai Road (NH-4)
The highway connecting Pune to the nearest major city is Mumbai-Pune Road. It has been built several times in several forms. It is part of NH-4. In its current form, it starts from the 153-year-old Pune College of Engineering Pune, known as COEP, in the Shivaji Nagar area near Sancheti Hospital.

Pune-Nashik Road
This road connects two big cities of Nashik and Pune. Pune-Solapur Street
This road is part of the Pune-Machillipatnam National Highway (NH-9). This road connects the Hadapsar area to Poolgate. From Poolgate, this road is connected to Swargate by Shankarsheth road. The street is named after the legendary social reformer Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve. The road connects all the places on one side of the Mutha River and runs parallel to it. G. A. Kulkarni Road
The street is named after one of Marathi's greatest short story writers G. A Kulkarni. It is one of the main streets in the suburb of Kothrud in Pune. Fergusson College ("FC ") [Official name of Gokhale Road]
This street earned its name from Fergusson College, an educational institution founded in 1885. Up to 50 years ago, the Fergusson College road was the start of the Mumbai-Pune Road (Bombay-Poona Road). It used to start in Deccan Gymkhana and curved toward the house of the Old Governor to Aundh. North Main Street
North Main Road is located in Taman Koregaon. This road connects Bundgarden Road (indirectly) to Mundhwa (Pingale Vasti). This street is the commercial center of Pune Cantonment. This leads to East Street on Shankarshet Road, which later became the Pune-Solapur-Hyderabad highway. It was given the name of the great freedom fighter "Lokmanya Tilak". One of the longest commercial streets in Pune, Tilak Road begins where the road of Laxmi ends.
