Unnamed Horse is a feature film produced independently by Matthew and Barnaby O'Connor. The two main differentiating factors are the budget, which is $ 10,000 (considered very small by Hollywood standards) and the fact the film was written when it was made - something unknown to the actors in the film. Plot

In the movie opening scene, the DJ's down and out, Vince Vinyl (Alex Price) meets Sophie (Molly Ryman), a high American girl, in a New York cafe. Both of them suddenly hit him and after deciding to spend the day together develop tentative friendship. The scene of New York is disjointed with scenes Vince who travels around the United States in the future. His travel companion was Randy the truck driver (Steve Malone), whom he had been forced to ride without his knowledge. As the film progresses, it shows how the friendship between Vince and Sophie evolved into something deeper before Sophie was forced to return to her home in Los Angeles. This is what inspired Vince's epic trans-American journey.

Production

As pictured behind the scenes of documentaries, 13 countries show, the film's production is full of difficulties, with some examples where filmmakers seem almost fainted from exhaustion and stress. This is mainly due to the fact that no script and filmmakers are trying to keep this secret from others involved in production. Many of the actresses they approached were initially wary of getting involved, probably because they felt that everything might not be like what appeared. In addition, production is lacking, given the very expensive living expenses and work in New York City. In the end, all the internal scenes were actually shot in Syracuse, about 300 miles from the city (but still part of New York State) because the cost of renting locations within the city proved to be very expensive.

Soundtrack

Despite the low budget of the film, a number of famous musicians donated their music to movies and documentaries. The opening song 'Do you like it?' by Sam Taylor, who was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall Of Fame in 1997 is one example. Others include Ronald I. Controversy

A follow-up preview of the film and documentaries played privately at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008 to mixed acceptance. Some consider it a simple victory of independent filmmaking. The Movie Business Daily praised the style and direction of the film and even compared the director with the young Sam Raimi. However, the praise for the film is not universal. Lloyd Simandl writes, "For some professionals, this may be offensive because it prides itself on no manuscript... It may be funny for some people, but most of the business is not." He went on to describe the two directors as "a group of fools laughing at the fact that they have no scripts, no money... and possibly no talent."

However, not everyone shares this view. Documentary '13 Country' 'creation' is described by DOF 4:13 Productions as, "The Definitive American Road Trip, a non-screen and behind-the-scenes script that destroys people you've never seen before," mostly for how he captured the whole experience.
