American rapper Wiz Khalifa has released five studio albums, one compilation album, one soundtrack album, two extended games (EP), sixty-three singles (including thirty-four as featured artists), twelve promotional singles, fourteen mixtape, and seven seventy- seven music videos. After signing a contract with an independent record label Rostrum Records at a young age, Khalifa began to attract national attention after releasing his first mix of US Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania. He also released his first studio album, Show and Prove (2006), which received critical acclaim from several major music publications. The success of Show and Prove made Warner Bros. Records signed the Khalifa in 2007 as part of a joint deal with Rostrum. While in Warner, Khalifa released the singles "Youngin 'on His Grind" and "Say Yeah". The latter became his first song to appear on the Billboard chart, peaking at number 20 on the US Hot Rap Songs chart. However, after disagreement with Warner over the release of his major label debut album, Khalifa left the label and released his second studio album, Deal or No Deal, in 2009 at Rostrum Record only.
In April 2010, Khalifa released a mixtape, Kush & amp; Orange Juice , which gained widespread attention after filling out the Google Hot Search Trends list: this brought Khalifa to the attention of Atlantic Records, who immediately signed it. Khalifa's first single for the label, "Black and Yellow", achieved significant commercial success in the United States, peaking at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and also peaking in the top ten of Canada and United's single charts Kingdom. The song was then certified 6x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for digital download submissions exceeding 6,000,000 copies. International Hit "Black and Yellow" appeared on Khalifa's first studio album for Atlantic (and third overall), Rolling Papers , which reached number two on US Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA. Three further singles from Rolling Papers, Billboard Singles "Roll Up", "On My Level" - collaboration with fellow rapper Too Short - and "No Sleep" are also mapped in the United States. In 2011, Khalifa recorded many collaborations with other artists that proved to be commercially successful, including "5 O'Clock" with T-Pain and Lily Allen, and "Young, Wild & Free" with Snoop Dogg. Both of these songs reached the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100.
In 2012, Khalifa's fourth studio album, ONIFC , was preceded by the release of the singles "Work Hard, Play Hard" and "Remember You", both on the top 75 list of Billboard > Hot 100. Some other songs from ONIFC also mapped on the album release. "Let It Go" featuring Akon debuting and reaching number 87 on Billboard Hot 100. After releasing "Hard Work, Play Hard", Khalifa collaborated with pop rock band Maroon 5 on the single "Public phone" , which reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and top ten other national charts, including Australia, New Zealand, and Switzerland. "Public phone" was very successful on the UK Singles Chart, where he became Khalifa's first single at the top of the charts. Once released in the United States on December 4, 2012, ONIFC mapped at number two on Billboard 200 and topped Album Top R & amp; B/Hip-Hop and Top Rap Album Ladder. Blacc Hollywood followed in 2014 and included the single "We Dem Boyz", which reached number 43 on Billboard Hot 100. Khalifa , a compilation album consisting of songs from 2009 onwards, was released on February 5, 2016 and contained the hit single of the newly recorded "Bake Sale".
