Hannah Montana , also known as Hannah Montana Forever in her fourth and final season, is an American comedy television series made by Michael Poryes, Rich Correll, and Barry O'Brien. It focuses on Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus), who is a teenager who leads a double life as an average schoolgirl by day and as a famous recording artist Hannah Montana at night. His story follows the daily life of Stewart, his brother, his friends, and his father (Cyrus real life singer father, Billy Ray Cyrus).
The series, produced by It's a Laugh Productions and Michael Poryes Productions, aired on the Disney Channel on March 24, 2006 and ended on January 16, 2011 after airing four seasons and ninety-eight episodes. Hannah Montana soundtrack album (2006), Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Hannah Montana 3 (2009), and Hannah Montana Forever (2010) released to coincide with their respective seasons. In 2007, the success of the series resulted in the Worlds Best Tour, which visited North America. The following year, it was adapted into the 3D movie Hannah Montana & amp; Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert and the accompanying soundtrack. In 2009, the first feature film of the series, titled Hannah Montana: The Movie was released for commercial success, and also promoted through the accompanying soundtrack. All season events have been distributed on DVD.
The series received generally favorable reviews from critics, and has been recognized as a "guilt" by some media. The instant success of this event is widely credited with the launch of Cyrus's career and his founding as a teen idol. However, as he continues to develop an increasingly provocative image as the series progresses, the series has received criticism as it emerges as a negative influence on younger audiences.

Storylines
Miley Stewart lives a double life as an average schoolboy by day and an international teen idol Hannah Montana at night. His father Robby Stewart was a successful country musician under the stage name of Robbie Ray, and raised Miley and her brother Jackson Stewart as a single father in Malibu, California after their mother Susan died. Miley's best friend, Lilly Truscott discovered her secret while attending the Hannah Montana concert. Later in the first season, Miley herself revealed her secret to their close friend Oliver Oken with the aim of ending her romantic interest in Hannah Montana. Lilly and Oliver consider the alias of Lola Luftnagle and Mike Standley III when performing with Hannah to protect her secret. Meanwhile, Jackson works at Rico's Surf Shop, where his teenage boss Rico Suave often assigns him to complete an embarrassing task.
Miley, Lilly, and Oliver started high school in the second season. Rico, who started high school after passing some value, almost discovered Miley's secrets on several occasions. Later in the season, Miley recognizes Jake Ryan, who was initially disliked and then dated in the second season, that he is Hannah Montana. However, their briefly reviving relationship ended after he struggled to adopt the normal, non-celebrity lifestyle, which Miley feared he would lose as a result of dating the actor.
While Miley is no longer shooting a movie (parody of Indiana Jones), Lilly and Oliver start dating in the third season. Although Miley initially felt uncomfortable with their changed friendship dynamics, she often helped the couple reconcile after arguing with each other. Miley herself starts dating Jake again, but develops feelings for her bandmate, Jesse. Jackson moved into his own apartment during college, while Lilly moved with the Stewart family after her mother sought a job in Atlanta, Georgia. In the two-part season finals, Robby buys a ranch in Malibu to carry Blue Jeans from a horse in Tennessee, while Jackson leaves his apartment and returns home. Oliver also embarked on a tour with the band living above the former Jackson apartment.
In the fourth season, the Stewart family moves to their new farm, and Miley finds out that Jake betrays him, from Oliver who has a photo of Jake biting another girl's ear. She broke up with him and immediately started dating Jesse. He admits that he found his secret by watching his actions, and it started to trouble his friends and family. After much deliberation, Miley reveals to television viewer Jay Leno that she is Hannah Montana. After that, Miley and Lilly graduate high school, with arrangements to attend college. At the end of the series, Miley and Lilly prepare for college, but other movie offers appear. Miley tried to make Lilly refuse, but failed several times. He convinces Lilly to come with him to Paris (where the film is filming), but at the airport, Lilly decides not to leave, but to return to college (this is because Oliver convinces Lilly that Miley will get another movie role next year). Miley continues to Paris, only to return, to join Lilly at Stanford. The guest star Jesse and Oliver in the episode and Montage's drawing play at the end of the episode.

The first season Hannah Montana began airing on March 24, 2006 and ended on March 30, 2007 after broadcast 26 episodes. An additional episode, titled "That So Suite of Life of Hannah Montana", served as a crossover episode with That So Raven and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody , and aired on July 28, 2006. The second season has 29 episodes, and aired from April 23, 2007 to October 12, 2008. The additional episode, titled "No Sugar, Sugar", was filmed but not aired in the United States after complaints parents allege that the episode provides inaccurate information about diabetes.
The third season Hannah Montana aired on November 2, 2008 and ended on March 14, 2010 after broadcasting 30 episodes. The twentieth episode aired on July 17, 2009 and served as the third and final episode of the "Witch on Deck with Hannah Montana" crossover episode; the first being considered the second season episode of the Wizards of Waverly Place, while the second was produced as the first season installment of The Suite Life on Deck . Furthermore, the season was disrupted by the premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie , which was released on April 10, 2009.
The fourth and final season of Hannah Montana was renamed Hannah Montana Forever and aired on July 11, 2010. After broadcasting 13 episodes of the season, and 98 episodes in all four, the finale series aired on January 16, 2011.
Transmission and character
Along the way, the series is led by five (seasons 1 and 4) and six (season 2-3) main characters. The original main characters are Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus), Lilly Truscott (Emily Osment), Oliver Oken (Mitchel Musso), Jackson Stewart (Jason Earles), and Robby Stewart (Billy Ray Cyrus). In the second season, Rico Suave (Moisà © s Arias), who initially appeared in support capacity during the first season, integrated into the main players. During the fourth and final season, Oken became a supporting character due to Musso's involvement on the Pair of Kings television series, aired on Disney XD's twin stations.
The character's storyline is largely developed by supporting player members. Amber Addison (Shanica Knowles) and Ashley Dewitt (Anna Maria Perez de Tagle) are featured as a stereotypical school diva, and especially rivals from Stewart and Truscott. Jesse (Drew Roy) is introduced as one of the interests of love in the future.
Production
Michael Poryes, who is credited as a co-creator, also co-created the Disney Channel Original That So Raven series. The show is produced by It's a Laugh Productions, Inc. and Michael Poryes Productions, in collaboration with Disney Channel Original Productions. It was filmed at Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood, California.
The original idea for the show was based on It's So Raven the episode of "Goin 'Hollywood", which serves as a backdoor pilot for a temporary sitcom called Better Days to star Alyson Stoner, child star of a popular TV show of the same name is trying his hand to go to regular school. The episode "New Kid in School" has a basic premise as mentioned above.
As the concept of the event was further developed, among those considered to be the lead role of 'Chloe Stewart' is former American Junior finalist Jordan McCoy, Taylor Momsen's future Gossip Girl actress and pop and singer R & amp; B JoJo (who rejected the role). Miley Cyrus initially auditioned for the role of "best friend" Lilly Truscott, but they thought she would be better for the main character, so she tried to Chloe Stewart/Hannah Montana. Chloe Stewart was later converted into Miley Stewart when Cyrus got that part. The names of Hannah Montana changed several times. One of the previous names is Alexis Texas.
In December 2006, Disney announced plans to release Hannah Montana products, including clothing, jewelry, clothing, and dolls, at selected stores. Play Along Toys released Hannah Montana fashion dolls, singing dolls, Miley Stewart dolls, and other merchandises in August 2007. Opening the order
The theme song for Hannah Montana is "The Best of Both Worlds" written by Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil, produced by Gerrard and performed by Miley Cyrus (as Hannah Montana). John Carta, who also composed musical cues to signify scene changes and commercial breaks for the first season, composed music for the song. The lyrics of the song depict the basic premise of the television series.
The full version of the song, 2 minutes long, 54 seconds, was included in the show soundtrack, released in October 2006. For the TV version of the theme, which lasted only 50 seconds, only the first two stanza and the last two were used. "Just Like You" and "The Other Side of Me" were originally tested for the opening theme song, before "Best of Both Worlds" was chosen as the theme.
The opening sequence for the first two seasons displays an episode clip of each cast member when their name appears. Each player's name is "deleted" on the screen in marquee-light style. The sequence then switches to the full-screen episode clip (most of the clips used in Season One versions of the sequence are the initial produced episodes) with creator names appearing in the second-to-last clip. The logo design of the event's title appears at the beginning and end of the sequence (the last part of the "concert stage" featuring Cyrus as Hannah Montana's character). The only second-order change is the replacement of episode clips and the addition of Disney logos over the event title logo (this particular change is also implemented for the next rerun of the first season).
For the third season, a new version of opening credits is used. It features Miley as herself and Hannah Montana in a Times Square-like setting. The names of actors and actresses and clips of the show appear on some sort of marquee board and feature Hannah Montana with her wigs and new style outfits. The song is a remixed version of "The Best of Both Worlds", originally recorded for (and heard on) Hannah Montana: The Movie . This marks the first time that the Disney Channel series has changed the order of its opening titles. The sequence was reformatted for high definition and slightly changed for the fourth season, by typing the credit change, the addition of the words "Forever" in the main title of the logo, the removal of Mitchel Musso from the credit sequence and the entry of clips from the four episode season.

US. television ratings
The inaugural series of Hannah Montana earned 5.4 million views, giving Disney Channel the highest ranking in its history. The most watched series of episodes, Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas â € Å"tik viewed on August 17, 2007, to the audience 10.7 million. Thus, it also became the most watched episode on the base cable.
Criticism
Cyrus public image
As Cyrus continued to develop an increasingly provocative image as Hannah Montana developed, the series had received criticism as it emerged as a negative influence on younger audiences. In 2010 and 2011, he was recognized as the worst celebrity influence by JSYK, AOL's service, possibly considering a series of inappropriate sexual images and leaked footage of Cyrus smoking Salvia divinorum. In contrast, Cyrus's friend Kelly Osbourne describes that such a report "can not be further from the truth," adding that "he has learned his lesson" after the incident of his Salvia divinorum.
In 2012, Joe Paul Wilson of the Institute of Culture and Media criticized him for "[becoming] the epitome of an anti-role model for young girls" after building a follow-up through his "healthy" persona as Hannah Montana. Writing for the New York Post, Naomi Schaefer Riley notes that Cyrus "cheats" series audiences after assuming an increasingly provocative public image, posing as "inherent danger" for younger children.
After the controversial show at MTV Video Music Awards 2013, Hollie McKay of Fox News feels that parents will no longer feel comfortable letting their children watch Hannah Montana know what the current stage persona is doing, "and it is further suggested that Disney will be forced to stop the franchise in the light of criticism. Cyrus himself had previously expressed his displeasure at not being able to "remove the stuff [Hannah Montana] and start", and admitted his attempt to "start as a new artist" with his fourth studio album and the first record not affiliated with Disney , Bangerz (2013).
In April 2010, co-creators Rich Correll and Barry O'Brien filed suit against Disney Channel for $ 5 million in profits from the program. They claim that they denied their share of the profits and pre-negotiated percentage based bonuses based on their backend offerings and the Writers Guild of America, a Western requirement for authors receiving credit "created by". Hannah Montana & amp; Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert is a concert film from Walt Disney Pictures presented at Disney Digital 3-D. The limited release was intended for one week, 1-7 February 2008 in the US and Canada with releases in other countries at a later date, but extended to be seen during theater want. Disney announced the concert was filmed in several cities to be released theatrically in the US in February and internationally that month. The film uses 3-D glasses.
