Martina Mariea McBride (nÃÆ' Â © e Schiff, born July 29, 1966) is an American country music singer-songwriter and record producer. He is known for his various soprano songs and pop material.
McBride signed a contract with RCA Records in 1991, and debuted the following year as a country-neo-traditionalist singer with the single, "The Time Has Come". Over time, he developed a pop-style crossover voice, similar to Shania Twain and Faith Hill and has had a number of major hit singles on the Billboard country chart and occasionally on adult contemporary charts. Five of these singles went to No. 1 on the country charts between 1995 and 2001, and one peaked at No. 1 on contemporary adult charts in 2003. He has been called "Celine Dion of Country Music" when he was recognized for his soprano songs.
McBride has recorded a total of 13 studio albums, two greatest hits compilations, one "live" album, as well as two additional compilation albums. Her eight studio albums and her two compilations have received RIAA Gold certification, or higher. In the US, he has sold over 14 million albums. 1992-95: The Time Is Coming and The Way That I Am
McBride released his debut studio album by RCA Records in 1992, entitled The Time Has Come . It was produced by Paul Worley and Ed Seay. The title track of this album was number 23 on the country music charts, but the next two singles both failed to reach the top 40. Unlike the country's pop-influenced albums later on, The Time Has Come shows honky tonk and country influences people.
The Way That I Am is McBride's second album. His first two singles took him to the top ten countries: "My Baby Loves Me" peaked at number two, and "Life No. 9" at number six. The former was the top 10 hit in Canada for Patricia Conroy. The third single, "Independence Day", did not reach the top 10 because many radio programmers objected to the subject of a mother's song against torture by burning a family home to the ground. The fourth and fifth single from The Way That I Am was less successful: "Heart Trouble" peaked at number 21, and "Where I Used to Have a Heart" under the top 40. 1995-99: Wild Angels and Evolution
Released in 1995, Wild Angels contributed the top five hits in the main single "Safe in the Arms of Love", which had previously been recorded by Wild Choir and Baillie & the Boys, and was released simultaneously in Canada by Michelle Wright at the time of the McBride version. The album's title track continued to be the first No. 1 single McBride on the country charts in early 1996. 2008-10: Shine
McBride completed the tenth studio album's production by the end of 2008. The first single, "Ride", was released to radio in October 2008 and debuted at No. 1. No. 43 on the Country Hot Songs chart. McBride quit the RCA in November 2010 and signed a contract with Republic Nashville. He started working on a new studio album with producer Byron Gallimore. His first single for Republic Nashville was "Teenage Daughters", which he also wrote with Warren Brothers. McBride told Country Weekly that he co-wrote eight of the eleven songs on the album; he decided to write more often because he felt more confident in his songwriting skills after "Anyway" became a hit. The album, "One Night" was released as a promotion for NASCAR with music video in June 2011.
"I'm Gonna Love You Through It" was released as the album's second single on July 25, 2011. The song became a critical and commercial hit, peaking at number 4 and becoming the first big five hit since 2006 "Anyway." Album entitled Eleven , was released on October 11, 2011. Her third single was cover of Train's "Marry Me", recorded as a duet with lead singer Pat Pat. In August 2016, the singer announced a new tour called "Love Unleashed". Personal life

Charity work
McBride works with various charities. He has served as a spokesperson for the National Domestic Violence Hotline as well as the National Network for Ending Domestic Violence and a national spokesman for Tulsa Domestic Violence and Intervention Services. Every year since 1995, he hosted YWCA Middle Tennessee, "Celebrity Auction", and has raised nearly $ 400,000 so far.
