Christian Mary Jenner (nÃÆ' Â © e Houghton HOH - t? n , formerly Kardashian , born November 5, 1955) is an American television character, entertainment manager, producer, entrepreneur, and author. He became famous in the reality television series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2007-present).
She has four children from her first marriage to lawyer Robert Kardashian: Kourtney, Kim, Khloà ©  © and Robert, and two children from her second marriage to the Olympic television personality and Olympic retiree, Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn): Kendall and Kylie.

Jenner was born in San Diego, California. She was the first child of Mary Jo Shannon (nÃÆ' Â © e Campbell, born 1934) and Robert True Houghton, an engineer. He is of Dutch, English, Irish, German and Scottish descent. When Jenner was seven years old, his parents divorced and he and his sister, Karen, were raised by their mother until a few years later when her mother married businessman Harry Shannon.
Three months after moving to Oxnard, California, Shannon's business partner allegedly left with all the company's capital, so the family moved back to San Diego. Jenner attended Clairemont High School and graduated in 1973. She worked as a flight attendant for a year in 1976.

Jenner runs her own production company, Jenner Communications, based in Los Angeles. Since the beginning of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she has arranged her daughter Kim's career. He is also involved with the business management of his daughter and other sons.
Jenner opened a children's boutique in 2004 with her eldest daughter, Kourtney. The boutique was called "Smooch" and was open for almost six years before closing in 2009.

Jenner hosted a pop culture-induced talk show, Kris . The series begins a six-week summer trial run at Fox's stations on July 15, 2013.
Kanye West, his son-in-law, revealed the first public photo of a North West girl on Kris Jenner's talk show. The six-week trial of the show was not renewed.
Keeping Up with Kardashian
Jenner met with Ryan Seacrest in 2007 to pursue a television reality show based on her family. Seacrest, who owns his own production company, decided to develop the idea, had a popular family-based event The Osbournes in his mind. Jenner further commented on the possible series:
The event was finally taken to air on E! cable network with Jenner acting as executive producer. The series focuses on the personal and professional life of the Kardashian-Jenner mixed family. The series debuted on October 14, 2007, and later became one of the longest reality television shows in the country. The twelfth season of Keeping Up with Kardashians began airing on May 1, 2016. The event has resulted in the development of several spin-offs, such as Kourtney and KhloÃÆ' Â © Take Miami (2009 ), Kourtney and Kim Take New York (2011), KhloÃÆ'Â © & amp; Lamar (2011), among others.
Personal life
Jenner's first marriage was to lawyer Robert Kardashian (who became widely known to OJ Simpson's early legal representative) on July 8, 1978. They had four children: Kourtney's daughter (born 1979), Kim (born 1980), KhloÆ' © © (born 1984 ), and Rob's son (born 1987). They divorced in March 1991, but remained close friends until his death from esophageal cancer in 2003.
In 2012, Kris confessed that he had an affair with former soccer player and animator Todd Waterman during his marriage to Kardashian. He calls Waterman "Ryan" in his autobiography, but he reveals his own identity. They had a meeting at Keeping with Kardashian while Kris was in tennis.
In April 1991, one month after his divorce from Kardashian, Jenner married his second spouse, retired Olympian Bruce Jenner, who openly came out as a transgender woman in 2015, taking the name Caitlyn. They have two daughters together: Kendall (born 1995) and Kylie (born 1997); in his autobiography, Jenner explains that he named his daughter Kendall Nicole after the late Nicole Brown Simpson. By marrying Bruce, Kris also has four stepchildren: Burt, Cassandra "Casey", Brandon, and Brody.
The Jenners announced their separation in October 2013, and on September 22, 2014, he filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce became final on March 23, 2015, due to state legal requirements six months. Kris Jenner has talked of breaking up with Bruce as "the most passive-aggressive thing," saying that when she found out about hormone use in the 1980s, "there was no gender problem. Through her children, Jenner has nine grandchildren.
O. Trial J. Simpson
Jenner and her family suffered emotional turmoil during the trial of O. J. Simpson (1994-1995), later described as "Trial of the Century." Jenner is a good friend of O.J.'s ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and Jenner's first husband, Robert Kardashian, is one of O.J. Simpson's "Dream Team" from defense counsel during the trial.
She is portrayed by American actress Selma Blair in the limited series FX American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson , which aired in February 2016.
California Community Church
Jenner and Pastor Brad Johnson founded the California Community Church in 2012. Originally called the Church of Life Change Community, located in Agoura Hills, California.
Plastic surgery
In June 2011, Jenner had a face lift month before her daughter Kim's marriage to Kris Humphries and allowed the preparation and recovery of the operation to be recorded. Video recording can be viewed on E! Online and "Kim Fairytale Wedding Part 1" episode Keeping Up with the Kardashians . He explained: "I need a little refreshing for a wedding, just doing what a girl should do!" Jenner also has a reduction in the earlobe revealed in an episode KUWTK that aired in January 2018.
