Slacks Creek is a suburb of Logan City, Queensland, Australia. Most of the eastern fringes are parallel to the Pacific Motorway. At the 2016 Australian Census, the suburbs recorded a population of 10,432.
The creek that gave its name to the district was part of the Logan River catchment and was named after the Slack family who owned the cattle that ran there before the closer days of the settlement. Aboriginal name for it is Mungaree, the place of fish, which is the name they give for their property. In September 2006, the only IKEA shop in Queensland moved from its home in the nearby suburb of Rochedale South to its new location in Slacks Creek. IKEA Logan is now the largest IKEA store in the Southern Hemisphere and the third largest in the world.
